Tiree Backpack

Our Tiree backpack is handcrafted from various shades of vibrant Harris Tweed. Internally it is lined with burnt orange water resistant cotton fabric. It has a zip fold over flap closure secured by Sam Browne screws. There are two external YKK zip pockets, one on the front and one on the back. There is an internal padded pocket for devices, as well as an internal zip pocket.

The adjustable strap is made from Veg Tan leather, as is the flap closure. Vegetable tanned leather is leather that has been tanned using natural tannins found in organic materials like tree bark, rather than using chemical tanning agents. This traditional method results in a unique, durable leather that develops a rich patina over time as it ages. All the leather has been hand cut, polished and saddle stitched, which is a traditional hand sewing technique.
