Harris Tweed Kerrera Tote in Lime

Our Kerrera Tote Bag is handcrafted in Scotland from various vibrant shades of Harris Tweed. Internally it is lined with terracotta water resistant cotton fabric and has a large zip pocket, perfect for securely storing your valuables such as your wallet, phone and keys. It has a magnetic closure for added security.

The adjustable strap is made from Full Grain Vegetable Tanned leather and has been hand cut, polished and saddle stitched. Saddle stitching is a traditional hand sewing technique where two needles are used to create a stitch, that is extremely durable and visually beautiful. Vegetable tanned leather is leather that has been tanned using natural tannins found in organic materials like tree bark and leaves, rather than using chemical tanning agents. This traditional method results in a unique, durable leather that develops a rich patina over time as it ages.
