Harris Tweed Uig Crossbody Bag in Charcoal Check

Our Uig bag is a small crossbody bag handcrafted in Scotland from charcoal Harris Tweed. Designed to securely fit most phones. A small pocket on the front can be used to hold cards. Internally it is lined with blue water resistant cotton fabric.

It has a leather closure secured by a Sam Browne screw. The adjustable strap is made from Full Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather, as is the flap closure. Vegetable tanned leather is leather that has been tanned using natural tannins found in organic materials like tree bark and leaves, rather than using chemical tanning agents. This traditional method results in a unique, durable leather that develops a rich patina over time as it ages.

All the leather has been hand cut, polished and saddle stitched, which is a traditional hand sewing technique.
